Today, the Otrar State Archaeological preserve museum celebrated the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the audience. At the opening ceremony, the museum director Ersin Tazhibaev congratulated the museum staff on this significant day and noted: “It is the duty of every citizen to declare the country's independence as the whole and to preserve the spirit, national traditions, heroism and wisdom of our people, desire for the future, symbols and state symbols”.
The guide Zhazira Alipbekova, prepared a report where she described the importance of State Symbols in detail, which was adopted on June 4, 1992. The colour of our flag is blue. Blue is the sign of the sky. This colour of unity and solidarity was a symbol of peace and prosperity for all nations.
Heads of the departments of Fund and Ethnography Yeraly Shokhai and Aklima Zhumasheva wished a bright future to our country. The host of the festive event, Gulmira Arystanbaeva, noted: “We are proud of Shamshi Kaldayakov, a native of the Otrar region, who is the author of our hymn.” In the end, the participants of the event attended thematic book exhibition organized by the librarian Nurgaysh Abdrali.
