Problems of preservation and restoration of cultural heritage
November 29, 2018 in the framework of the program article of the President N. Nazarbayev "Look into the future: modernization of public consciousness" was organized by the Republican scientific and practical seminar Otrar state archaeological Museum-reserve on "Problems of preservation and restoration of cultural heritage."
The purpose of the seminar is to mobilize researchers and cooperation with Museum experts in the preservation of cultural heritage, familiarization with the developments of recent years in this direction Otrar reserve Museum staff,
familiarization with the conditions of storage of valuable heritage stored in the Museum. The event was attended by historians, scientists and specialists of various museums of Kazakhstan, representatives of the public.
The seminar began with a tour of the Museum's exposition hall. The seminar was opened by the mayor of the district E. Aitahanov and Director of the Otrar state Museum-reserve of A. Dzhandosov and with a welcome speech by the Director of Ordabasy historical-cultural Museum "Berel" G. akhmadiev, Director
of Ordabasy National historical and cultural Museum B. Ismatov, chief editor of the magazine "Karahan" C. Dosymbekova and a veteran of the Otrar reserve-Museum N. Aldabergenov.
At the plenary session of the seminar, participants from different parts of the country were able to make presentations, discussed topical issues in the field of Museum business, as well as made a number of suggestions and comments.
After that, the staff of the Department of restoration and conservation of the Otrar reserve presented their work in breakout sessions on the theme "Restoration and preservation of Museum exhibits" and organized a master class in the section "Applied art". In the section on "Rules used for accounting of Museum objects" the staff of the Otrar reserve-Museum Fund exchanged experience with registration documents. In conclusion, the Deputy Director of the Otrar Museum thanked for their participation and presented the certificate to the guests.
“PROBLEMS OF RESTORATION AND CONSERVATION OF THE CULTURAL HERITAGE”
In November 29, 2018 within the framework of President N.Nazarbayev’s program article “Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity, it was organized the republican scientific and practical seminar by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Otrar State archaeological preservation museum together with: “Problems of restoration and conservation of the cultural heritage” in the Otrar Regional Palace of Culture. The workshop started with an exhibition featuring valuable artifacts from the museum fund and products of the regional craft masters. The purpose is to mobilize and to collaborate researchers with the museum experts, to get acquainted with the history of our valuable heritage kept in the funds of the museum and this event were attended by the historians, scientists and professionals of different museums of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was opened by the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Sport of Kazakhstan Abil Taufikuly Zholamanov and read congratulations from the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly. Incidentally the Deputy Director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dauletkerey Kusainov and the Deputy Akim of Otrar region Ryskeldy Alis by focusing the achievements of the historians and experts wished them success. Amirkul Abuov, the Deputy Director of the National Center for Handwritings and Rare Books, recommended: "Why not to investigate the underground road to Turkestan?" and presented the book about outstanding people of this region “The Rashakhat Ain Al-Hayat” to the museum. At the plenary session of the seminar the participants from different parts of the country were able to read and present their reports, the topical issues as well as suggestions and comments in the field of museums were discussed.
After that, the employees of the Restoration and Conservation Department of the Otrar Reserve Museum presented their works in the direction of "Restoration and preservation of museum exhibits" and organized a master class in the section "Applied Art Development". In the last section the staffs of the fund exchange their experience on registration documents on the topic "Rules used for accounting of museum items". In conclusion Deputy Director of Otrar museum and the Director of Rukhaniat museum named after Abu Nasr al-Farabi made a speech, thanking for their participation give the guests certificates. The following day it was organized a tour to Azret Sultan, Gaukhar ana and Ukash ata on the theme: “The Geography of the holy places”.
