Within the framework of the article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe” by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.O. Nazarbayev, the Otrar State Archeological preserve museum of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a press tour on the theme: “Otrar is the touristic centre”
The purpose of the event is to increase the interest of tourists and acquaintance of ancient Otrar, which is distinguished by its history, deep culture and religious significance, as well as acquaintance with the tourist center "Otrar Kalajurty", built in accordance with the modern requirements of the tourism industry.
The purpose of the construction of the Visitor Center is to popularize the cultural heritage of the Otrar oasis in the country and abroad, to protect and preserve the objects of historical and cultural heritage that are located in the Otrar preserve-museum, and to create a tourist center that meets modern requirements for the tourism industry.
The event participants familiarized with the exposition hall of the Otrar preserve-museum and made a tour of the historical sites of Otrar.
And also, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the foundation of “Otrar Kalazhurty” was laid for the first time in the country. The purpose of the “Sapar Centre” is to popularize the cultural heritage of the Otrar Oasis in the country and abroad, to protect and preserve historical and cultural heritage sites located in the territory of Otrar preserve-museum, to create a tourist center in accordance with the modern requirements of the tourism industry.
The journalists visited and got acquainted with the buildings. According to the contractor of TriA+LLP Abdurazak Zhanbusinov, the construction of the Tourist Center is carried out in a timely manner, the internal structure of the dormitory is being built, and the overall construction is currently 80%.
During the press tour, Serik Akylbek, Deputy Director of the Otrar museum, the head of Fund Yeraly Shokai and a guide Bauyrzhan Kamalov told about the activities of our museum.
